LAUREL, MD – Today’s Stronach 5, featuring a 12-percent takeout and a $100,000 guaranteed pool, will be highlighted by turf races from Gulfstream Park, Pimlico Race Course and Santa Anita Park.

    Post time for the national pick 5 will be 5 p.m.  The Stronach 5 will also feature six-furlong events on the main track from Golden Gate Fields and Gulfstream.

    The sequence kicks off with a six-furlong claiming race from Gulfstream. The Stronach 5 then takes to the turf with a five-furlong event at Pimlico and a 7 ½-furlong event for maiden claimers at Gulfstream. After a six-furlong event from Golden Gate Fields, The wager concludes with a field of eight allowance optional claimers going 1 1/8th miles on the turf at Santa Anita.
