Six Tied at 64 at Traveler's
Friday, June 21, 2019

If yesterday's opening round is any indication, the Traveler's Championship in Connecticut will prove to be anything but a runaway. No less than six players shot 6-under-par 64s over the TPC Highlands course in Cromwell - Ryan Armour, Bronson Burgoon, Zack Sucher, Abraham Ancer, Mackenzie Hughes and Kyoung-Hoon Lee. Another six were one stroke behind, including Louis Oosthuizen, Patrick Cantlay and Chez Reavie. There are also a myriad of players at 66, 67, 68, etc. and the projected cut is at 1 under 69.

Phil Mickelson got off to a good start at 3 under, and Seminole Daniel Berger is at 68, along with Gator Brian Gay. Seminole rookie Hank Lebioda is 1 under, and Brooks Koepka, after a 1-over 71, has some work to do.
