The bay filly, whose eighth in :9 4/5 at Saturday’s Under Tack session was co-fastest at the distance, is out of graded stakes-winner Palanka City, by Carson City, a full sister to graded stakes-placed stakes-winner Quick Action.
Nick J. Hines, Agent, went to $260,000 for Hip No. 672, a gray or roan colt by Graydar consigned by Costanzo Sales, who breezed an eighth in :10 flat on Saturday. The gray or roan colt is a half-brother to graded stakes-placed Zulfikhar out of stakes-placed Pink Diamond, by Mineshaft.
Hip No. 572, a son of Uncle Mo consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, went to East Hickman Bloodstock for $255,000. The dark bay or brown colt, who breezed an eighth on Friday in :10 flat, is a half-brother to graded stakes-placed Sawyer’s Mill out of Gr. I stakes-placed Modification, by Vindication.

The dark bay or brown filly, who worked an eighth in :10 flat on Friday, is out of stakes-winner Knit One Purr Two, by Tale of the Cat, from the family of graded stakes- winner With Distinction.
McMahon and Hill Bloodstock, Agent, went to $210,000 for Hip No. 438, a son of Tiznow consigned by Randy Bradshaw, Agent. The bay colt, who turned in a quarter in :21 2/5 on Friday, is out of graded stakes-winner Juanita, by Mineshaft.
Hip No 437, a son of Tiznow consigned by Twin Oaks Training Center, Agent, was purchased for $200,000 by Calumet Farm. The gray or roan colt, who worked an eighth on Friday in :10 3/5, is out of J. Quirk, by Unbridled’s Song, a half-sister to stakes-placed Srikinglybeautiful.

The chestnut filly is a half-sister to newly graded stakes-placed Third Day, third in Keeneland’s Gr. III Ben Ali Sakes on April 13, out of stakes-winner Onebadkitty, by Street Cry (IRE), a full sister to stakes-winner Jaws N’ Paws.
Larry Zap, Agent for Joseph Ciaglia, Jr., went to $180,000 for Hip No. 609, a dark bay or brown colt by Raison d’Etat whose quarter on Friday in :20 4/5 was the session’s co-fastest. Consigned by Hoppel’s Horse & Cattle Co., Inc., Agent, he’s out of Neith, by Dynaformer, a half-sister to graded stakes-placed stakes-winner Lady Chace.

The gray or roan filly, whose quarter in :20 4/5 was co-fastest at the distance at Thursday’s Under Tack session, is a half-sister to stakes-placed Angel’s Tune out of Holiday Tune, by Concorde’s Tune, a half- sister to graded stakes-winner R Holiday Mood.
For the session, 202 horses sold for a total of $7,359,700, compared with 168 selling for a total of $4,765,500 at last year’s second session. The average was $36,434, up 28.4% from $28,366 a year ago, while the median price was $17,500, up 34.6% from $13,000 in 2018. The buyback percentage was 25.7%; it was 20% last year.
