Record Handle, Attendance on Black-Eyed Susan Day

    BALTIMORE – The Maryland Jockey Club reported record attendance and handle on today’s 95th Black-Eyed Susan Day, highlighted by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Stetson Racing LLC’s Point of Honor winning the $250,000, Gr. II race, and Winchell Thoroughbreds LLC’s Tenfold winning the Gr. III, $300,000 Pimlico Special at Pimlico Race Course.

    Total handle on the 14-race Black-Eyed Susan program was $22.281 million, surpassing the previous record of $19.895 million set in 2017 by nearly 20 percent. Attendance was 51,573, surpassing the record of 2017 of 50,339.
