After 11 holes at the Workday Charity Open in Dublin, Ohio yesterday, Ted Potter was 1 under par, right on the early projected cut line, and tied for 49th place. But bogeys on 12, 16 and 18, plus another disastrous double on the par-4 13th, were only offset by birdies at 14 and 17 and Ted wound up at 2 over par in a tie for 111th at Muirfield Village.

Collin Morikawa leads after the first round after a 7-under-par 65, one stroke ahead of Adam Hadwin and two ahead of Nick Taylor and Zach Johnson. There's a 5-way deadlock at 4-under 68, and another huige group at 69. The 68s include Ian Poulter, Patrick Reed, Graeme McDowell and Justin Thomas.

Gators: Billy Horschel (72, tied for 64th), Brian Gay (71, tied for 49th), Matt Every (81, tied for 152nd). Seminoles: Hank Lebioda (71, tied for 49th), Brooks Koepka (74, tied for 111th).
