Ted Potter is tied for 48th at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia after posting a 2-under-par 70 in the second round over the TPC Kuala Lumpur course. Coupled with his opening-round 71, Ted sits at 3 under par, 11 strokes behind co-leaders Gary Woodland (69-61-130) and Marc Leishman (68-62-130). Shubhankar Sharma and Paul Casey are just one stroke off the pace at 13 under, and first-round leader Bronson Burgoon (63-69-132) dropped into a tie for fifth at 12 under.

Ted played the back nine first and made one birdie and one bogey. On the front side, he had four birdies and two bogeys, completing a round in which he hit 17 of 18 greens. He's 31 of 36 for the two days. However, in the all-important category of putts per greens in regulation, he's well down the list in 62nd.

Gator Billy Horschel is tied for 10th at 10 under after rounds of 65-69-134, and Brian Gay is tied for 63rd after 72-72-144, even par. Among the old-timers, Davis Love III shot 70-73-143, 1 under, and Ernie Els 68-72-140, 4 under.
