With so many of the game's heroes playing in the controversial Saudi league, the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit lost much of its luster. So it's no wonder there are a great many fans wondering who the heck is Taylor Pendrith. The answer: he's the 36-hole leader at the Detroit Golf Club, with rounds of 64-65-129, 15 under par. He has a one stroke lead over a name familiar to the golf faithful, Tony Finau, second with 64-66-130, and three strokes over Lee Hodges (who?), who has posted rounds of 66-66-132.

    There are five Cams in the field - Cam Young at 10 under, Cam Tringale at 4 under, defending champ Cam Davis and Cam Champ at 3 under, and Cam Percy, who shot 73, withdrew, and will be home for the weekend.     

    All the Gators and Seminoles: Brian Gay, Camilo Villegas, Chase Seiffert and Hank Lebioda, missed the cut.  

    It will be interesting to watch the galleries today and tomorrow to see how they compare to days gone by.
