The Wyndham Championship has greatly accentuated the woes the PGA Tour has encountered in the past couple of months due to the LIV league with its outrageous purse structure and pilfered roster fully in play.

    After one round in Greensboro, North Carolina, John Huh is the Wyndham leader at 9 under par. His 61 is a shining monument to the prowess of the new sharks who have taken charge of the PGA Tour in the wake of the defections of so many marquee players to the Norman/Saudi group. Huh is a headline-writers' dream, but he won't he drawing Tiger-like galleries anytime soon.

    Huh has a two-stroke lead over Sungjae Im (63) and three over Brandon Wu (64) as the standing of each player listed to the right of the scores, such as 78-111-183-97-132-off-119 and 122, only illuminates the state of the PGA union. At this time, the only thing that can help the PGA Tour through this trying time is the return of Eldrick Woods, and that's something they can't count on.
