HALLANDALE BEACH - For the 25th consecutive race day, Gulfstream Park’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved, bringing the carryover to $1,078,609.89.

    Multiple winning tickets with six winners today returned $30,465. There were two live tickets going into the 11th race and final leg of the Rainbow 6, but both long shots proved to be no factor.

    The sequence began with a $7.40 winner in Nikee Kan in the sixth race, but a great many tickets were knocked out when she was followed by Tresta Kanta ($30.20) in the seventh and Rachel’s Smokin ($36.20) in the eighth.

     Racing resumes Thursday with a 10-race program beginning at 1:15 p.m. The first leg of the Rainbow 6 will be the fifth race, a starter optional claimer going a mile on the turf.
