Double Bogeys Send Potter Home from the Bahamas

    Ted Potter bowed out of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic yesterday, making three double bogeys, yet only missing the 36-hole cut by two strokes. Ted added a 3-over-par 75 to his Sunday 70 for 1-over 145. The cut came at 1-under 143.

    Ted made four birdies over the Abaco Club course, but dropped to a tie for 86th, and he missed the cut at both Korn Ferry Tour events. 

    Alvaro Ortiz is the halfway leader after rounds of 65-67-132, 12 under par. Brandon Harkins and Davis Thompson are tied for second at 10 under. Gator Tyson Alexander shot 69-72-141, 3 under, and is tied for 44th, while Dan McCarthy, two-time winner of the Ocala Open, posted 70-72-142, 2 under, and is tied for 55th.
