The bay colt, whose eighth in :9 4/5 was co-fastest at the distance at Monday’s Under Tack session, is out of Roberta Turner, by Smart Strike, a half-sister to graded stake-placed stakes-winner Foxy Danseur.

For the day, 133 horses brought a total of $12,166,500 compared with 166 selling for a total of $15,346,000 at last year’s opening session. The average price was $91,477, compared to $92,446 in 2019 while the median price was $50,000, compared with $55,000 a year ago. The buyback percentage was 30.7%; it was 21.3% last year.
