    Mike Talla, West Point Thoroughbreds, L.E.B., Agent, paid $750,000 for Hip No. 490, a son of Arrogate consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent. The gray or roan colt, who breezed an eighth in a co-fastest :10 flat on Wednesday, is a half-brother to millionaire Gr. I stakes-winner Heart to Heart out of Ask the Question, by Silver Deputy.

    Hip No. 605, a son of Union Rags consigned by Top Line Sales LLC, Agent, went to Repole Stable, Inc. for $750,000. The dark bay or brown colt, who worked a quarter on Wednesday in :20 4/5, is a half-brother to stakes-placed Champagne Humor out of Champagne Ice, by Roman Ruler, a full sister to Gr. I stakes- winner Ruler On Ice.

The chestnut filly, who worked a co-fastest eighth in :10 flat on Wednesday, is a half-sister to stakes-winner Checkered Past out of Catch the Flag, by A.P.     Hip No. 512, a daughter of Maclean’s Music consigned by Paul Sharp, Agent, was purchased for $575,000 by Red Baron’s Barn & Rancho Temescal. The chestnut filly, whose eighth in :10 flat was Wednesday’s co-fastest, is out of Beautified, by Congrats, a daughter of graded stakes-winner Makeup Artist.

    Hip No. 429, a son of Maclean’s Music consigned by Woodford Thoroughbreds, Agent, was sold to Myracehorse.com & Saratoga Seven for $400,000. The bay colt, who worked a quarter in :20 4/5 on Wednesday, is out of You Make Luvin Fun, by A. P. Indy, a half-sister to graded stakes-winner Classic Elegance.

    First Row Partners, BSW/Crow, Agent, went to $365,000 for Hip No. 392, a daughter of Candy Ride (ARG) consigned by de Meric Sales, Agent. The chestnut filly, who worked an eighth in :10 flat on Tuesday, is out of White Sangria, by Giant’s Causeway, a daughter of stakes-winner Comancina.

    Hip No. 521, a daughter of Empire Maker consigned by Best A Luck Farm LLC, Agent, went to Belladonna Racing LLC for $350,000. The bay filly, who breezed an eighth in :10 2/5 on Wednesday, is a full sister to graded stakes-winner Keri Belle out of graded stakes-winner Belleski, by Bellamy Road.

J. Stable LLC for $335,000. The gray or roan filly, a half-sister to stakes-winning OBS graduate Chestertown, is out of Gr. I stakes-winner Artemis Agrotera, by Roman Ruler.

The dark bay or brown colt, who breezed an eighth in :10 1/5 on Tuesday, is out of Tex Appeal, by Successful Appeal, a half-sister to graded stakes-winner Strait From Texas. 

    For the day, 181 horses brought $21,056,500, compared with 158 selling for $15,990,000 at last year’s second session. The average price was $116,334, up 15% compared to $101,203 in 2021 while the median price was $47,000, compared with $55,000 a year ago.
