Saturday, October 17, 2020

Only 78 players are contesting the CJ Cup at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, and Xander Schauffele is the halfway leader with 66-64-130. Xander is 14 under par, despite the fact that he only hit three fairways - but he made an amazing 123 feet of putts on the Shadow Creek Golf Course.

Tyrell Hatton is alone in second with 65-68-133, 11 under, one stroke better than Russell Henley.

Justin Thomas, the defending champ, was 20 under and collected $1,755,000 last year; he's 6 under and tied for 8th, as is Hideki Matsuyama. Jon Rahm is at 4 under and tied for 15th, along with Gator Billy Horschel (70-70-140). Sergio Garcia is 3 under, and Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler are 2 under.

The Seminoles: Daniel Berger is 3 under and tied for 20th, and Brooks Koepka is 2 under, tied for 26th.
