Potter Shoots 77 in First Round in Jackson
Friday, October 2, 2020

Ted Potter's recent woes continued yesterday at the Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson, Mississippi. Ted shot 77 over the Country Club of Jackson course, and immediately fell 13 strokes off the pace.

Ted's round of 38-39 included five bogeys, and for the first time in a long while, not one birdie. He bogeyed four par 4's and one par 5.

There's a four-way tie for first among Kevin Chappell, defending champ Sebastian Munoz, Jimmy Walker and Charley Hoffman - all shot 8-under 64. Munoz earned $1,188,000 for last year's victory.

Seminole Hank Lebioda posted a 3-under-69 and is tied for 28th, same as Gator veteran Camilo Villegas. Gator Matt Every snuck in from the alternate list and shot 1-under 71, tied for 65th.
