Potter Ties for 27th at NV5 Invitational

    Ted Potter's second weekend of play on the Korn Ferry Tour resulted in a tie for 27th at the NV5 Invitational in Glenview, Illinois. Ted shot a 1-under-par 70 in Sunday's finale at the Glen Club and finished in a tie for 27th, good for a check for $5,573, which boosted his two-week take to $8,498.

    Ted began on the front nine and made one bogey and one birdie for an even-par 36. On the back, he made another bogey, but birdied 15 and 16 to close with 34. For the 72 holes, he made one eagle, 14 birdies and six bogeys, and hit 54 greens in regulation. 

    Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns tied for first after 72 holes at 19 under par, and Burns won the playoff on the first extra hole by canning in a 38-foot snake for a birdie 3. Scheffler then missed a 37-footer. Scottie earned $915,600, raising his season's total to $11,215,187 as he draws closer to Jordan Spieth's single-season record.
