Potter's Next Stop: Wells Fargo in Charlotte
Tuesday, May 4, 2021

The field for the Wells Fargo Championship doesn't include Dustin Johnson, but otherwise it is loaded for the $8.1 million next stop on the PGA Tour. Ted Potter will be there after his 18th-place finish in the Valspar and the juicy check of $98,325 which increased his earnings for the year to  $301,242.

Despite Ted's problems on Sunday at Innisbrook, Saturday's 63 showed he can still get the job done as he strives to reach the top 125 on the FedEx points list so he can retain his exemption for next season.

Max Homa is back to defend the crown which netted him $1,422,000 in his last visit to Charlotte. Even Rory McIlroy will be there, along with a slew of top 25 players.
