Triple Bogey Once Again Stifles Potter
Sunday, June 4, 2017

The dreaded triple bogey invaded Ted Potter's game once again Saturday, and prevented him from moving up the leaderboard at the Rex Hospital Open in Raleigh.

Ted began on the front nine at the TPC Wakefield Plantation and birdied the sixth hole to go 1 under, then eagled the par-5 ninth to turn in 3-under 33. But he took a bogey on 12 and followed that with the triple-bogey 7 on the par-4 13th, then parred out for 39 and a 1-over-par 72. That left him at 3-under 210 for the 54 holes and in a tie for 53rd.
