Potter Withdraws From Sanderson Farms Championship
Saturday, September 21, 2019

Ted Potter was among those who withdrew from the Sanderson Farms Championship without finishing yesterday, after darkness halted play for the second straight day.

Ted shot 1-over-73 on Thursday, and was going to the 18th tee yesterday at 1-under for the round when the horn blew. At even par for the two rounds with one to play, he no doubt figured there was no reason to hang around and play No. 18 today when there was no chance to make the cut of 3 under. He had made four birdies and three bogeys when play was halted.

Byeong Hun An was the leader at 12-under-132 when darkness came, but there are 20 groups still having to finish this morning. There's a group of four tied for second at 10 under. Gator Brian Gay shot 69-72-141, and at 3 under can keep going if the line stays there. Seminole Hank Lebioda is out after rounds of 78-75.
