HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - There will be a $1,042,563 carryover in Gulfstream Park’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 when live racing resumes Thursday with a 1:15 p.m. first race post. The track will miss the last two days of live racing on the Labor Day weekend to prepare for the hurricane. 

    The Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 33rd consecutive racing day Saturday, when multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $11,991. There was one live ticket heading into the 13th and final race, but 80-1 shot Rebelde finished third in the $200,000 Affirmed Stakes.

    Thursday’s sequence will kick off with the fourth race on the nine-race program, a starter optional claimer at a mile with a field of seven. The sequence also has three scheduled turf races and a maiden special weight event for fillies and mares at 5 ½ furlongs.

    Gulfstream will remain open today and Monday for simulcast wagering.
