Rain Wipes Out BMW - Rose In Front By One
Monday, September 10, 2018

An all-day rain wiped out the final round of the BMW Championship before a shot was fired on Sunday and just who will advance to the Tour Championship in two weeks will be determined today.

Ted Potter shot a 3-under 68 on Saturday and heads into the finale in 15th place on the leaderboard at 11 under, and in 56th place on the FedEx Cup points list. Ted posted a 32 on the front nine, making birdies on four holes against one bogey. On the back. he birdied 16 and could have finished at 12 under - in the top 11 - but a bogey on 18 prevented that. His position on the FedEx list makes it nearly impossible for him to slip into the top 30 by this evening, but a solid round will be worth a fat paycheck.

Justin Rose is the leader at 17 under, one stroke ahead of Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele and two better than Mick Fleetwood and Rickie Fowler. There are 9 players within four shots of the lead.

Tiger Woods is among those tied for 11th at 12 under after a bogey-free 66, with two birdies on each side, including his opening two holes.
