Rahm Takes Memorial Lead On Tough Day for Scoring
Sunday, July 19, 2020

The Muirfield Village course was the big winner at The Memorial in Dublin, Ohio yesterday, and only two players in the field were able to break 70. They were Jon Rahm, whose 4-under-68 put him at 12 under and four strokes ahead of Ryan Palmer and Tony Finau, who both faltered to 1-over 73s, and Brendan Todd, whose 68 was only good enough to move him to 1-under-215 and out of the picture.

There were no 69s, and 11 players finished with 2-under 70s, including Danny Willett, who jumped up to fourth at 6 under.

Tiger wound up with a 1-under-71, and is tied for 37th at 2 over after he barely made the cut on the line at 3 over on Friday.

Gator Billy Horschel shot 70 for 1-over 217 and is tied for 29th, and Seminole Brooks Koepka's 73 dropped him into a tie for 56th at 4-over 220.
