Rahm Leads by Two in Mexico
Sunday, May 1, 2022

Jon Rahm wasn't quite as sharp Saturday as he was in his first two rounds, but he still holds the edge heading into today's finale of the $7.3 million Mexico Open at Vidanta.

Rahm's 3-under-par 68 has him at 15-under 198, two better than Kurt Kitayama, who shot 66, and Cameron Champ, who added a 67 yesterday. There are three at 12 under, including Nate Lashley, whose 64 was best of the day.

Seminole Hank Lebioda (67-67-69-203) is in a good position for a big check at 10 under, tied for eighth.

INSPERITY INVITATIONAL - Brandt Jobe (68-64-132), Steve Stricker (67-65-132) and Steven Alker (67-65-132) are tied for the lead in the $2.3 event at The Woodlands in Texas. Ken Duke is alone in fourth with 70-66-136, 8 under.

There are six at 6-under-138, including Tom Lehman (70-68-138), architect of the Ocala Preserve course, and Gator Chris DiMarco (68-70-138). Gator Scott Dunlap is tied for 23rd with 73-68-141, 3 under, and Mark Calcavecchia is down the list with 74-75-149. Marco Dawson, former touring pro at Adena Springs, is at 4 over (73-75-148).
