Sunday, November 18, 2018

Ted Potter posted a 1-under-par 69 in round 3 of the RSM Classic at Sea Island, and dropped into a tie for 56th heading into today's finale. Ted made just three birdies, adding a pair of bogeys, and will have to handle the Seaside course again today. His best round, a 4-under 68, came in the opener on the Plantation course, which is used just once over four days.

Charles Howell III has been in front from the outset, although his daylight 36-hole margin narrowed to just one stroke yesterday. Howell is 16 under par, and Jason Gore and Cameron Champ are right on his tail at 15 under.

Gators: Brian Gay, 69-67-65, 11 under, tied for 7th; Matt Every, 69-69-65, 9 under, tied for 19th.
