Ted Potter added a second-round 1-under-par 71 to his opening 76 and after 36 holes at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the event he won in 2018, he's well down the list at 3 over and will have to go bananas today to make the 54-hole cut. The cut looks like it will come at around 4 under.
Red-hot Seamus Power is well in command at the halfway point with rounds of 64-64-128, 16 under par. Tom Hoge has put together rounds of 63-69-132, and Adam Svensson is just the opposite, 69-63-132. Andrew Putnam (65-67) is also at 132 and favored Patrick Cantlay is at 133 (65-68).
Gators: Brian Gay is tied for 95th with 76-68-144, even par, and Camilo Villegas is tied for 47th with 67-72-139.
A double bogey on the par-5 sixth Friday hurt Ted, after he began with birdies on 3 and 4. He'll need a 64 or 65 today to have any chance to advance to Sunday's finale.
