Ted Potter went over par for the first time yesterday in his 15th try over the Old White Course in the Greenbrier Classic in West Virginia. Ted made just two birdies over the par-70 course, and four bogeys left him at 2-over-par 72. He had never been above 70 in his four ventures in this event.
As a result, Ted dropped 20 spots into a tie for 42nd and goes into today's finale 12 strokes behind leader Sebastian Munoz. Robert Streb is second at 12 under and veteran Davis Love III, still looking to become the oldest winner ever on the PGA Tour, is at 10 under, tied for fifth.
Brett Stegmaier (69-70-69) and Camilo Villegas (68-68-72) are both tied with Ted at 208 and Brian Gay (67-72-72) is 1 over.
