Potter Is One Under With 18 to Play in Ohio
Sunday, June 3, 2018

Ted Potter shot a 1-over-par 73 in the third round at the Memorial yesterday, dropping him to 1-under after 54 holes, but he will get to play in today's finale. Due to the huge number of players who made the cut of even par on Friday, the MDF rule was in effect for round 3, meaning 'made cut, did not finish.' The bottom eight players after yesterday's round will not play today, but will receive a check.

Ted made two bogeys on the front nine for a 38, then birdied No. 14 on the back for 35.

Tiger Woods was in the midst of another super round, getting it to 6 under for the day and 11 under overall with just three holes to play. But, as he has been doing recently, Tiger three-putted 16 and 18, missing short putts for par on each and he dropped to 9 under. He had eagled the par-5 fifth hole and birdied 6, 7 and 9 for a front-nine 31.
