Potter at 6 Under, Tied for 33rd at Ellie Mae

    Ted Potter dropped to seven strokes off the lead held by Andrew Yun after he posted a 2-under-par 68 at the Ellie Mae Classic in Hayward, California, on Friday. Ted fell into a tie for 33rd with rounds of 66-68-134, 6 under, over the par-70 TPC at Stonebrae course. Yun leads at 13 under after rounds of 65-62-127, one stroke better than Brandon Harkins.  

    Ted began with an early eagle-birdie on Friday to get it to 3 under, but gave two back with bogeys at 7 and 8. He made one birdie on the back for nines of 34-34. The cut came at 3 under and missing it were Dan McCarthy (-1), Seminole Jack Maguire (+7) and NBA star Stephen Curry (74-74-148), who made six bogeys and two birdies in the second round.
