Saturday, November 10, 2018

Matt Kuchar broke a tie with Dominic Bozzelli and Kramer Hickok at the top of the leaderboard in the Mayakoba Golf Classic by firing a second straight 64 over the Playa del Carmen course and move to 128, 14 under par.

Cameron Champ added a sizzling 62 to his opening 68 and is alone in second at 12 under 130 as Bozzelli and Hickok both fell off the pace. There is a seven-way tie for third at 11 under, which includes Gator Brian Gay, who posted rounds of 68-63-131. The other Gator in the field, Billy Horschel, is alive after rounds of 71-66-137, 5 under, and is tied for 47th.

Rickie Fowler and Tony Finau are in the hunt, both at 8-under 134.

The cut came at 4 under and there are 13 players deadlocked at that number. Jordan Spieth will be among the missing today after he put up 71-69-140 and Zach Johnson will be gone after he shot 1 over.
