Glover Fires 61 in Vegas, One Stroke Off Shriners Lead

    Bryson DeChambeau and Peter Uihlein are tied for the 54-hole lead in the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas, but it was Lucas Glover who attracted the most attention in round 3. DeChambeau and Uihlein are 16 under par, but Glover, who was eight strokes behind Uihlein heading into Saturday, fired a 10-under 61 over the TPC Summerlin course and is sitting one stroke off the pace at 15 under.

    Among the marquee names, Rickie Fowler is 9 under and tied for 19th, Jordan Spieth 8 under and tied for 27th, and Tony Finau 7 under and tied for 40th. Three veterans started, and Davis Love made the cut (-3) and is 6 under, while Steve Marino missed the cut at 2 under and Kenny Perry at 5 over.

    And, in Vegas, Jhonattan Vegas hung in there with rounds of 71-65-66-202, 11 under, and is tied for 11th.

    Gator Brian Gay (74-65-69-208) is 5 under and tied for 60th.
