DJ Appears To Be a Lock at WGC-Mexico
Sunday, February 24, 2019

Dustin Johnson appears to be home free in the WGC-Mexico Open after winding up 54 holes at 16 under par. Rory McIlroy is alone in second at 12 under, and there's a deadlock for third at 9 under among Patrick Reed, Patrick Cantlay, Sergio Garcia and Cameron Smith, but they will have to go really low to have any chance of even getting near Dustin, who's at the top of his game

Tiger Woods is tied for ninth at 6 under after a 1-under 70, but he would have been much closer if not for a four-putter and three-putter back-to-back. Matt Kuchar, squarely in contention after round 2, imploded Saturday with an 8-over-par 79. Phil Mickelson is tied for 51st at 3 over.

Brooks Koepka is tied for 31st at 1 under and Billy Horschel is tied for 41st at 1 over.
