Burns Leads By One at Houston Open
Sunday, November 8, 2020

It's a rare day on the PGA Tour when the first three leaders after Friday's second round are also 1-3 at the end of round 3. But it happened yesterday at the Vivant Houston Open, with Sam Burns still on top, and Jason Day and Carlos Ortiz tied for second heading into today's finale.

Burns went in at 7 under par, added a 2-under 68, and leads at 9 under. Day and Ortiz were 5 under and after both shot 3-under 67s, they're one stroke behind Burns.

Dustin Johnson moved from a tie for 15th into fifth after posting his second straight 66. Best rounds of the day - 5 under 65s - were recorded by Seminole Brooks Koepka and Will Gordon. Koepka is tied for 13th at 3 under and Gordon is tied for 18th at 2 under.
