Rowland Ties for 72nd in Jim Furyk's Event in Jacksonville
Monday, October 10, 2022

After his 2-under-par-70 opening at the Constellation Furyk & Friends, ex-Ocalan Roger Rowland was unable to duplicate the performance over the weekend. Roger added a pair of 77s for 224, 8 over par and tied for 72nd, and instead of collecting his biggest paycheck of the Champions Tour season, he picked up $1,413, bumping his season total to $25,165. That moved him up from 125th to 120th on the money list after 15 events.

Roger won't have to travel too far from his Jacksonville home this week for the $2.1 million SAS Championship at the Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, North Carolina.

Steve Stricker shot 69-64-69-202, 14 under par, to win Jim Furyk's event by two strokes over Harrison Frazar, who closed with 65 to get to 12 under. Furyk was third at 11 under, one better than Thongchai Jaidee and Bernhard Langer.
